We can’t tell you what a joy it is to have you here today.  We believe that God brought you here for a special reason, and it is our hope that you  will find this place warm and welcoming and centered on our Heavenly Father through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Whatever walk of life you come from, whatever position or place you hold, we want you to know that God deeply and mercifully loves you and wants to bring you to Himself.  All of us, no matter how great or small, are in need of the free gift that only the Lord Jesus Christ provides.

“To all who received Him (Jesus), to those who have believed in His name He gave the right to become the children of God.” John 1:12

“For all have sinned & fall short of the glory of God” Romans 3:23

“For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Jesus Christ our Lord.” Romans 6:23

First Baptist Church is located conveniently off of Hwy 259 North, just twenty minutes from Longview, Texas.  Turn right on Cedar Street, and you can't miss us!  If you're coming from North of Ore City, just head south on 259 through town, and take a left on Cedar.

Those of you coming from Main Street or 450 can easily turn on Cypress, and head just four blocks south to intersect Cedar.  Don't hesitate to give us a call at 903-968-4404 to get more help!  Scroll down for a map.
